A blue frame appears around emails and other work when I am on my iPad Air Pro 5. Also when I type, when i use the space bar (while the blue frame is there, the space bar doesnt provide the space.

You need to a change a setting for your keyboard:
Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards > Full Keyboard Access - set to OFF
