Stand by mode wont work

Two 14 pro max (my wife’s and mine) both updated to ios 17.2.0. Both flip unlocked, stand by setting is on, they are charging, in horizontal and upright positions, have done soft resets. Still wont work. Have been waiting hoping some ios update will fix it but nothing has happend. Any suggestions? I would rather not have to do a hard reset all.

iPhone 15 Pro Standby Mode not working Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue where Standby Mode has completely stopped working on my iPhone running iOS 18.4 RC. Landscape mode functions properly, and the device detects orientation changes, but it does not enter Standby Mode when placed on my Apple charger or stand.
