Hello there, I have jeep grand Cherokee 2019 model. I was using iPhone 13 and CarPlay was working good with usb cable. Now I got iPhone 15 but my CarPlay is not working. I have usb port attach to my car. So used lightning to usb-c adapter to connect my phone. But still car play is not working.

My new Iphone won't connect to Carplay in my car, I've brought the right cable to manually connect but it still will not connect. I've taken my car to the dealer and they couldn't get it to sync either. I've done all the other suggestions for the car and the phone: they don't work....ugh Apple fix this now!!!
I unpaired all phones that were connected to Bluetooth and added my iPhone 15 pro and it finally worked! My car is a 2018 Kia. Now it will stream what I’m playing, BUT Car play still doesn’t work. I’ll keep trying but does anyone have any tips??
Before buying a new cable, make sure CarPlay is allowed on the iPhone. Go to:
"Settings">"Screen Time">"Content & Privacy Restrictions">"Allowed Apps & Features", then scroll down to "CarPlay" to make sure that it is allowed.
After spending hours trying to connect my new iPhone 15 Pro to my 2019 Mazda, I bought the Apple USB-C to lightning adapter. I had been able to connect my phone via Bluetooth for phone, messages, and audio function but it would not connect to Car Play like my older iPhone SE or my husband's iPhone 14, which both used the lightning connector. I plugged the adapter into my phone and used the regular USB-A to lightning phone cable and booted my phone and logged in with the passcode. As soon as I turned on my car, prompts came up to connect to Car Play. I choose always enable. Immediately the Car Play app displayed in the car screen. Easy. This is definitely a fix that needs to be addressed by Apple. Hope this helps others.
This problem always happens when a new IOS update comes out.You can attempt to refresh the Apple CarPlay connection by resetting Uconnect by holding down the power button (under the screen) or using the factory reset option accessible through the vehicle's touchscreen.For me, carplay always works when I hold the power button for a long time until the screen turns off and turns on again, you just refreshed the system and apple carplay will work again, and it works wirelessly.

I have this same issue! I have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, and my iPhone 14 connected to CarPlay using a cable no problem. Just bought an iPhone15 and it won’t work! I’ve tried multiple cables (apple, heyday, anker) with and without adapters etc., nothing works! I’m so frustrated as I rely on CarPlay every day, especially the ability to use my Apple Maps visibly in my car display. I almost got into an accident trying to navigate directions audibly only. I’m most likely going to take back the iPhone and go back to my iPhone 14.

absolute nightmare
am so disappointed with this new phone
will not connect to CarPlay and the battery does not even last 9 hours with minimal usage

I have tried all the so called fixes suggested on the community
My iPhone 15 will not do anything like link up with my car at all
Finds the phone gets the phone book calls that is it on maps or anything
How does this work ? Do you have another cable to plug into it ?

I had the same issue today.
To resolve this, I purchased a mophie usb-a to usb-c charge cable from the Apple Store.
iPhone 13 Pro (lightning to USB-A) works great with CarPlay on 2020 Prius Prime. Upgraded to iPhone 15 Pro (USB-c to Usb-A[Apple product]) Now not working.
this really needs to be fixed.
