Activation Lock

I reset my iPad with my MacBook and I tried putting my Apple ID on the activation lock but it says incorrect Apple ID when it the right one. I even changed my password too. How do I fix this??

If it's locked to a different Apple ID, log in with that one, or contact the person who can, or if you're the unit's original owner, click here and submit an unlock request.

If it's become unbound from the original account but is still locked, submit an unlock request.
