I am trying to get text messages and iMessages to appear in the messages app on my Mac. I don't know why I can't see them. I was able to see them before and all of a sudden it stopped working My iPhone is on iOS 17 and my Mac is on macOS Big Sur.

Same for me. I have iphone 12, my wife has iphone 12mini. Both ios 17.3.1. Text Message Forwarding setting IS available on the iphone 12 mini but NOT on my iphone 12. Is there another setting somewhere that is affecting this?
It’s in Settings -> Messages -> Text Messaging Forwarding.
