No text sound alerts

I have my phone set for Sounds and Haptics. When I receive text messages it vibrates but I get NO text tone. I have already tried all the discussion suggestions and nothing seems to work. I have turn the phone off and turned it on again. I have tried various tones. I have checked Do Not Disturb. I have turned volume up all the way.

The telephone call rings as it should, but not the text tone. It has worked consistently since I have had this phone, but then just decided to stop.
