Logic Pro Mastering Assistance Character Not Available for 2021 MacBook Pro with M1 Pro Chip

I have just updated my MacBook Pro to macOS Sonoma version 14.1 and I have upgraded Logic Pro to version 10.8 and tried out the Mastering Assistance plugin on my MacBook Pro with M1 Pro Chip. However, I only get the character "clean" and not the other ones (it says "Requires Apple Silicon).

Because I am pretty sure the M1 Pro Chip is Apple Silicon, I really don't know what is causing this issue.

By the way, I have my sound library on a LaCie external SSD, is this why it is causing the issue?

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you so much for the explanation! I just unselected "Open using Rosetta" in GET INFO of the Logic Pro application and now I have access to all the characters within the Mastering Assistance plugin!

What do you mean by running native?

Assuming you are asking whether or not I have my sound library stored on my MacBook Pro or on an external hard drive, the answer would be that I store my entire Logic Pro sound library on an external 500 GB LaCie SSD.

I do not think there is a way to take out the new mastering plug in feature in the new update.

However, if you do not want to use the mastering assiatant plugin, just dont click on it in the mastering track and only use the plugins that you do want to use on the mastering track.

Yes, I am pretty sure I have downloaded all the additional sound content to my external LaCie SSD.

I think it may be a bug that Logic Pro 10.8 has on all the 2021 M1 MacBook Pro. Hopefully, there will be an update that can resolve this bug/issue soon.
