Just purchased a new iMac M3. Transferred my data successfully from the old iMac to the new one, everything seems fine except Find Me will not turn on and let me track where my computer is. Any ideas? I have already called Apple Support and wasted many hours, everything is turned on that should be, but it still does not work. Is this an iMac M3 bug as Find Me worked on my old iMac?

Today my case was escalated to a senior adviser, who solved the problem. Basically signing out of iCloud, restating and signing back in. Find My then worked perfectly.

Take it back for a full refund and get another one. You have 14 days to do this no questions asked.
That’s a bit drastic with a software bug, everything else seems fine. I’m very pleased with the M3 expect for this one thing. I’m sure its software related not hardware.
