Garageband update problem with tonewheel organ

Just updated to the latest version of GB (Nov 23) I select Vintage B3 Organ then select tone wheel organ (or any of the others) and the image of the organ with the drawbars etc, disappears, to be replaced with 4 black dials, after hitting a key on my midi keyboard I then click the revert button, changes back to the original image for about a millisecond, and won't change back....no use for using the drawbars etc.....HELP!!

I didn't back up the previous version on Time Machine.

I'm having the same problem and am completely stumped. I've tried it with two different controllers, and gone through the audio midi setup app and can't find any setting or anything else that explains or fixes this.

Hi,

I contacted Apple about this and Yes, there is a problem....3 calls to apple help, as follows: (i) Un-install and re-install GB....didn't work....(ii) wipe your hard disc, un-install and re-install GB....didn't work....(iii)Spoke to a really helpful guy, he video'd my screen as I showed the problem to him in real time....2 days later, he came back and said yes there is a problem they will be fixing it in the next update....downside is no timescale, he said that these can take months to come through, but sometimes weeks.....I'm hoping as we all are it's sooner rather than later, as everybody worldwide will have the same problem!! Hope that's of help?

I have a call scheduled with Apple in a few minutes. This is very helpful info. When I opened my computer this morning there was an OS update (to 14.1.2) waiting to be installed. Has anyone done this update? Did it fix the problem?

I just had a call with Apple as well. While on the call I installed the most recent OS update (to 14.1.2 from 14.1.1), which did not fix the problem. I told her the other steps I had previously gone through. She's forwarding the issue to "the engineers". This bug is a relatively minor annoyance, but it would be nice to have it fixed sooner rather than later as GB is one of the main reasons I use a mac in the first place.

Exactly the same problem. Vintage B3 Drawbars disappear after touch the keyboard and drawbars are unable to adjust. Someone can help us!?
