The keypad on my iPhone XR doesn’t work when I receive a call. I am up to date with iOS 17.1.1.

Update: I got my phone working as it should. I changed the setting for calls when unlocked to full screen rather than banner.

I use the keypad on my phone to allow people into my apartment building. It works if I am not using the phone to play games etc. but if I get a call while using my phone, it will let me call up my keypad, but pressing the number to let them in doesn’t work.
Are you unable to tap the button to get the keypad to appear, or is it that you tap the button and the keypad does not respond? What troubleshooting have you tried? Standard troubleshooting is power device off/on, force restart, restore from backup, restore to factory and setup as new.
