Update IOS IPad in KIOS mode with Declarative Device Management in intune

HI, I have create a Device configuration in intune to update a test Ipad in kiosk mode using Declarative Device Management but it doesn't seem to force the update on the device. It worked with the ipad not in Kiosk mode but in kiosk mode, I only see the notification at the main screen but nothing happen even after waiting for 24 hours. Anyone knows if this is even possible ?
