Beats studio3 no sound right headphone

A few weeks ago the sound just stopped coming out of that side. It’s clean and reset it and nothing. They’re out of warranty so apple wants to see them in store to analyze. I don’t mind taking them but the store is 45 minutes away and I was wondering if anyone has ever had the same issue and them actually fix it for less than buying new headphones so I don’t waste 1.5 hours in traffic 😕
