Can no longer open Garage Band (running Big Sur 11.7.10)

I can no longer open my GarageBand app. When I click, it tells me I no longer have the permission. An similar questions was posed in 2022. I followed the steps suggestions (choosing the app, opening file, permission settings: everything is set to "Read and Write" for all users. Still can't open. Any other suggestions?
