Pink shade appears while using front camera in iPhone

I suspect the camera is defective and will need to be replaced. You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

Most (all?) the issues being reported in this thread are defective front (selfie) cameras.

The front camera of your iPhone 15 Pro Max displaying a pink hue might be due to an inferior screen protector or misalignment during installation.

Jut got a used Iphone 15 pro max that does not report any hardware or software issues. But the front camera looks like this.

This Iphone is out of warranty and its expensive to replace the front camera. Does anyone solved it without replacing the front camera?
