Issue with renaming tracks on garageband

I can rename all my tracks on GarageBand except the electronic drum kits. I like to name each track the snare, kick, hi-hat, etc., but every time I save and close, the default name is there when I reopen the project. All of the other tracks are renamed as I like them except the drum kits. How to fix this?

Any time I play a song, without an unforeseeable logic, Music.app renames the track "TrackName.m4a" to "01 TrackName.m4a", for example. This is causing big problems because, as a DJ, my live stage software is referencing nearly all tracks without track number in front. Please note: this is not at all related with the lack of iTunes Library.XML file that is also causing problems to DJs.

2009 Garageband lesson files Here's a quandary for you, There's probably no solution but I thought I'd try. Way back in 2009 I downloaded a couple of artist guitar lessons for GarageBand, one by Sting and one by John Fogerty. I enjoyed them but kind of moved on. In fact, I didn't use GarageBand for years. Apparently at one point a newer version of GarageBand would prompt you to update the older files, but I never noticed. Now I'm back to playing with GarageBand and I saw that those two lessons were no longer listed. But I found the files! Of course, the current GarageBand can't open them, even though the information window for the files still lists GarageBand as the default application. So, am I out of luck? Or is there a fix available somewhere somehow? Waiting in suspense ...... Ed Merrin

Midi editing in Logic Pro All of my midi tracks default to my drum midi events in the edit window. So I can’t edit my piano midi info because when I double click on the piano region my drum region appears in the edit window. This is the same for all midi tracks. Even when I create a new software instrument, it still defaults back to the drum midi info in edit window.
