How do you get your device unbanned from Snapchat?

Device change will not help. Snap bans you and your device. Your new device will be banned when you try to log on to Snap.

Snap is really smart. Even if you try to set up a new account, they will very likely catch you.

Still an issue to talk to Snapchat about. It’s still got nothing to do with Apple. It will never have anything to do with Apple.

You are not addressing Snapchat; just fellow Apple users who have no control over what Snapchat does.

Only snapchat can do that, and that is almost certainly not going to happen.

There is a reason and SnapChat knows it. Posting here will do no good in resolving the problem that you have with SnapChat. SnapChat is under no obligation to give you the reason, but they are not required to let you use their service either. What did SnapChat say when you contacted them? You are likely to find that it makes no difference what device you use.

If you bought a phone from some person, you didn't get a new phone. And sure, the phone could have been banned by Snapchat. They often ban a device. Whether Snapchat will unban the phone for you, is between them and you and has nothing to do with Apple.

Nobody here can help you, other than to let you know that SnapChat is the only one who can remove the ban, if they feel like it. (Which they might not.) Not us, and not Apple, which you should already have known if you had read the thread.

Read the terms of use for SnapChat that you agreed to when you chose to use their service. They have a whole list of reasons why they can suspend or terminate your account and also Community Guidelines that must be followed. Many times users think they can do or say whatever they want because they are behind a screen.

There is nothing Apple can do if SnapChat does not want you to use their service. That is a SnapChat decision only and they have the right to choose whoever they want to be on their service.
