Apple Configurator software update not working, disconnecting iPads

Even though I am now using the latest Apple Configurator software at my workplace, I am still having some issues. When I connect an iPad to wipe and reset, when the process begins I keep getting a dialog box saying the MacOS requires a software updated to do it, and when I attempt to download it, an error message comes up saying "Installation failed, Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." Also, if I try to connect more than one iPad model type and wipe them together via Apple Configurator, when the iOS re-install begins all the iPads will disconnect, then reconnect but it's too late, as Apple Configurator will have failed and they won't reinstall while connected. At first I thought this was due to me attempting it while my MacBook Air was running on the battery, but it also happens when on AC power.

This is really going to affect my productivity at my workplace.

Does anyone know any workarounds, or how I can get this update installed that may apparently fix the problem, if it does?
