Midi Connection - Imac to Korg PA5X
Not a new iMac, it's running Big Sur 11.7.10, but can't connect to either Garageband or Logic Pro....does someone have a step by step guide?

Yes, I tried Audio Midi Setup. I tried to create a new device.
On the Korg I select Midi Preset = Default, Clock Source = External USB.
On Garageband
However, when I play the keyboard I see nothing under Garageband.....are there particular settings under Garageband I need to select?
Thanks again.
Tony
Hi Keith,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have connected the pa5X to the iMac using a USB cable.
I have done the indicated setting changes.
But they're not talking to each other.....
I have written to Korg but they have not replied.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Tony
Did you select "Midi" in the new track dialog?
