How do I add old Jam Packs to GB

Hi,

I've a bunch of Jam Packs that I'd like to add.

What's the process?

Can I leave some loops on an external drive?

I'd appreciate a hand.

What to do with old Loops and Jam Packs in Garage I am trying to clean up my backup hard drive. I came across a folder"Music>GarageBand" which contained Loops and Jam Packs. Are these still of any use with the current version of GarageBand. My current MacOS is Big Sur. GarageBand version is s10.4.2. I notice that on my Primary hard drive there is only a song "My Song.band" from 2013.

Move Audio/Apple Loops folder How do I move the Audio folder, or the Apple Loops folder that's in it. I'm low on disk space and want to download the entire library. I've tried moving Audio to an external drive and putting an alias there. Doesn't work: Logic Pro X removes the alias and redownloads everything. I've also tried just moving the Apple Loops folder the same way, and Logic just removes the alias and redownloads stuff.

Show imported music tracks in album folder I want to store my CD collection on microSD cards. Easy done. When I then insert the microSD card in my portable player I can select songs, artist or album I want to listen to. However, when I open the microSD card when inserted in the Mac it only shows all individual tracks. Each track does contain the correct album info (under "Get Info"). Is there a way to show/create a folder for each imported album?
