How can I disable Apple Intelligence on my iPhone?

I do not want AI on my phone can I opt out, I understand it is part of an upcoming update. I want security updates but I am not interested in feature updates.

If you didn’t specifically request Apple intelligence to be installed (you are put on a waiting list if you did) then you don’t need to turn anything off. It’s not there unless you specifically requested it. AI is opt-in, not opt-out.

And if you actually have an iPhone 15 (not 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max) then Apple intelligence is not available for your model anyway. Only iPhone 15 Pro and later can support it.

This is partially true. AI is active on all apps even if AI is turned off as a function. I had Siri disabled on all Apps (yes i had to go through all the apps one-by-one to disable Siri and not allow it to “learn from the apps”. When the new ios update came out somehow this was overwritten and I had to repeat the same actions again. So AI was switched on on my devise without my consent along with Siri.
