Issue with a change in plug-in UIs

iMac 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

mac OS Ventura Version 13.6.7

GarageBand Version 10.4.11

I was having issues with GarageBand crashing multiple time in a day, even when it was only open and I wasn't otherwise using it. That is, not listening to or recording in a project. I suspected some 3rd party plug-ins may have been the problem, so I went to great lengths to uninstall them. Perhaps I inadvertently uninstalled something I should not have. One evening everthing was working perfectly, and the next day I had this issue. All plug-ins whether 3rd party or those included with GarageBand no loner present the proper interface. For example, Amp Designer no longer shows up as an amplifier head with cabinets and mic positions visible. Rather, it presents as a stacked list of parameters and options to select. Does anyone know how I might restore the former analog look of the plug-ins as they have been since I first downloaded GB several months ago?
