Is there a way to share Wi-Fi (not cellular data) from iPhone to a PC

I don’t have wifi adapter but I have an iPhone. I need to share my Wi-Fi to PC

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

Which appears to imply that when the iPhone is a connected and trusted device the computer may be able to use the phone to get data over any existing internet connection, be that Wi-Fi or cellular. That said I've not tested that exact scenario. Might be better to invest $20/£20 or so in a USB Wi-Fi adaptor.
