When I launch Garageband it prompts me to enter my Garageband password to download my sound library. I don't know what my Garageband password is. Is it the same as my AppleID or icloud password?

I don't know but I think it can be, a try won't create problem, unless you try to many times.
On a mac the password is the password to the admin account of that mac.
Also, there is no GB specific "password", can you show a screenshot of the dialog that requests this?
As it turns out, the password requested was the admin password for my Mac. Thank you for your help!
