unable to upload any files to iCloud on MacBook Air

I am trying to upload a single .pages file (215KB) to iCloud and it won't upload. I ran a speed test and I am running 300MB download and 150MB Upload. Everything else is working but iCloud refuses to upload. It just stays at 0bytes indefinitely. I have over 30GB of iCloud storage available. I tried going into iCloud settings to make sure everything is selected properly. I've restarted the computer. I've signed out and signed back into iCloud and still nothing. help!

Troubleshooting Lagging WiFi Uploads:

How Exactly are you performing the upload? Is it through Finder? Or ihttps://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive

Troubleshoot the WiFi:

A. Restart with a Router:

Power off your router for 30 seconds and then power it back on. Give it a minute or so go get back up and running.

B. Upgrade the Router:

If you are not not getting optimum use of your DTR (Data Transfer Rate), then consider upgrading to a stronger router.

C. Amplify the Signal:

If you purchase a Range Extender, then you can amplify the WiFi signal that is being broadcasted from your router.

D. Unplug all Plugged in Devices:

If you have any devices plugged in to your device, then replug them.
