my icloud uses so much of my storage when i only have the free icloud. can someone please help me reduce it? i need the space for school

Increase your storage on iCloud if you are running out of room on it.

I have 50 GB on my iCloud and pay about 1.50 a month in Canada.
How much on your MBP can you put on a external SSD or HD that you wouldn't need on iCloud for school?
