Garageband denies working on BigSur 11.7.10

I update my MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) to latest OS offered for such hardware, BigSur 11.7.10.

Garageband needed to be updated as well but, surprize surpize, there seems to be no version available on the AppStore for such OS. How can that be? I tried to download the latest, but it does deny working with BigSur. I then deleted the installed version and downloads again the version I have purchased long time ago, hoping it will offer me the latest version for the BigSur 11.7.10, but it simply telles me I have to contact the developer.

I always did update the Garageband and its the first time its no working.

Where can I get a compatible version for the BigSur from?

If you had garageband, go into your purchases, you should find it there.

Sometimes it helps to drag the app into the trash. (Don't empty the trash until you have successfully downloaded the new version!)

Thats exactly what I did, and it downloads and thereafter tells me that it is outdated and I have to contact the developer. It does not download the latest version available for the latest OS installed for my vintage machine.
