Request for Reconsideration of Apple University Discounts for iPads and Macs

For the past two years, Apple has adjusted its University Discounts. Previously, both iPad and Mac purchases during the offer included AirPods worth around 18-20k INR. Now, iPad purchases include an Apple Pencil, and Mac purchases include AirPods.

However, this change seems imbalanced. With a Mac purchase (~80k INR for base MacBook Air models), you receive a product worth 20k. In contrast, with an iPad purchase (~120k INR for base iPad Pro models), you receive a product worth only ~10k.

A more equitable approach would be to offer accessories worth up to 20k INR for both iPads and Macs. For example, this could include options like an Apple Pencil plus Folio Case, or a Magic Keyboard with the option to pay the difference, or maintaining the same AirPods deal.

I hope Apple can reconsider this to provide better value for all students.
