iCloud Drive stuck at download/upload

iCloud drive is stuck at downloading stuff in the Finder and nothing is properly synchronise in time. It always takes hours or days before my two Macs have access to the same updated files from iCloud drive.

It's been years since I have this recurrent issue. Apple assistance and forum told me to disable and reenable iCloud Drive, but it always come back.

I won't do it again. I don't want to wait once again for Terabytes of data to be synced again...

Is there a REAL solution to this? How come Apple never addressed this issue properly?

iCloud Drive is really the worst cloud service I ever had after Bitcasa...
