iPhone11, iOS 17.5.1- how to have hearing aids connected via Bluetooth so app works (Phonak) for control, but NOT have the phone ring thru the hearing aids, but thru the phone ringer only.

The Phonak app isn't the greatest on iPhones. Some hearing aids are made for use with iPhones and allow more of Apple's features to be used. Phonak does its own thing and you have to kind of put up with the problems of an otherwise good brand. For example, if you are using them with a computer, there's no way to shut off external sound input. Play a movie and you can still hear all the external sounds. If anything, it then plays them at full volume. I find I am better off just using headphones for that kind of thing.

Thanks, I didn’t know about that between Phonak & Apple but makes sense the way it’s behaving with other parameters too.
