I have tried to reset my ipod and it failed and took me to recovery mode, I tried to restore it and it was on a loading bar and then failed, and now it won't interface with iTunes at all, the computer picks it up (it makes the noise) but it won't show up in iTunes at all now
It was however jailbroken and I don't plan on doing this after (if) it has been fixed to avoid any future problems
iPod touch
I'm afraid, modifying the software damaged the iPod Touch, so that iTunes can not connect to it anymore.
Did you try another computer?
My ipod touch 4th gen is in recovery mode and iTunes won't pick it up to restore
