Colored Shapes and Rules warp into strange shapes

I'm on a Mac Studio 2022, OS Sonoma. I'll be working on an In-Design file and suddenly shapes and rules "explode" on my screen. Sometimes I can get my screen back to normal but zooming out of the page and sometimes I have to save and close the file. Then, when I reopen, it's back to normal. I can't find anything current in the community forum, so I was hoping someone could make a suggestion. I don't have a screen shot of it, but I'll try to get one next time it happens. Thank you!
