Screen Time parental controls not working

I’m having the same issue but it is just the social media apps that won’t get blocked. I have tried all the steps I have found in this thread as well as other threads on the same subject. Please make this a priority as our kids are our priority

Re: Screen Time parental controls not working : it is just the social media apps that won’t get blocked.

If you are using "Family Sharing" Apple support's online article (link below) explains how to set that up, or how to make changes if you have already set it up:

More on how to: Set up parental controls with Family Sharing on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: to manage app settings for a child:

  1. Go to Settings  > Family > [child’s name] > Screen Time.
  2. Tap the child for whom you want to set up Screen Time.
  3. Tap Screen Time, then :

Change access to apps and features: Tap Allowed Apps & Features, then turn off any apps or features you want to restrict access to. If you turn off an app, it isn’t deleted; it’s temporarily hidden from your Home Screen until you turn it back on.

Also: See more info. on how to: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

Eg: If you wish: you can:

Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions

Turn on parental controls for your child's device

All the best :-)
