Using my M1 2020 MacBook Pro.

I have generated an empty folder on my Desktop (connected to Apple iCloud) but cannot delete it getting the following message:

he operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found.

(Error code -43)

Any clues? - how to get rid of it?

Is it a fault in the macOS Sonoma?

Have you tried restarting?

How about force restarting the Finder: Press Command+Option+Escape. When the Force Quit window appears, select the Finder and click Relaunch. Wait for the Finder to restart, then try to perform the same task as you were when you got error -43.

Have you tried rebooting in Safe Mode?
