ipod says "no battery remains" but is charged full.

i believe this is the ipod 5th gen 30gb


for some reason, its fine for like 7 minutes about maybe and then suddenly says "no battery remains" but its fully charged?and theres no problems with it once plugged in.


do i need to get a new battery for it?

It sounds as though the battery is no longer able to hold a charge. This can happen once the battery reaches the end of its life.


The solution is to find someone local to you who can put in a new battery. By local, I mean that even if you have to post it in, somewhere that doesn't cost too much to post to. In other words, not to a different country as postage is likely to make it too expensive.
