Is there a way to collaborate on a file stored in iCloud using 2-3 Macs, without using physical space on any system?
Can iCloud, or any other cloud bases system, on a Mac, share files between 2-3 computers where the file itself remains in the cloud (not using HD space on any machine) and be accessed and worked on - using any of the computers. Will never be used by 2 computers at the same time (I am only one person). Used to use Dropbox - but with new Studio computers with limited HD space - where in the past the file was on both machines and synced - not allow anymore by Apple - has to be on main HD). I do not want to cripple the machines by leaving little space on the main HD.
I was told by an Apple tech on the phone that icloud uses HD space - which defeats the purpose of cloud work. Any ideas how to do this???
Thanks...
