Hint button not showing in Logic's Smart Tempo Editor

I have a piece I recorded in Smart Tempo on a midi keyboard as a software instrument. I want to give downbeat hints after analyzing the tempo but the hint mode icon doesn't exist in my Smart Tempo view. The toolbar goes straight from View to Catch Playhead. How can I get hint mode?

Why has this button seemingly disappeared?
