Reset iCloud keychain

I have an issue with iCloud data sync on my Mac. When start Resume Data Sync, I'm asked to enter Mac password. The next step is I'm asked to enter the password I previously used to unlock this Mac.

The case is that due to policy, I have to change passwords frequently, and when I tried all my old password for this Mac, none of them was accepted. Don't know any passwords option doesn't lead to any other useful direction except Cancel and Try again later.

So my idea is either simply to reset iCloud keychain or even reset my iCloud linked to a particular email. I don't need any data there. I just need to set it up from scratch.

Are there any options to reset iCloud or iCloud Keychain only for particular account? Data stored there can be lost.

Probably the issue is that somehow my personal Mac was linked to iCloud account I use on a work Mac, and my personal Mac old or current password is requested to enter work account iCloud.

I don't want to provide personal account passwords on work Mac, so I need to unlink my personal device from work iCloud account.

The issue is that I don't see my personal Mac neither in Apple ID / Devices on work Mac nor on https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage/section/devices

At the same time, as described in my original message, when I Resume Data Sync on my work Mac, I'm asked to provide my current password from work Mac device (this stage is passed successfully), and then an old password from Mac.

After clicking 'Don't know Password?' I can see 2 Macs: my personal Mac and the old name of the same work Mac I'm currently using.

I didn't use a work AppleID on my personal Mac, but authorised in my personal AppleID on the current work Mac some time ago. And it seems this causes an issue I'm having.

So I need to unlink my personal Mac from this work AppleID, and reset work AppleID account iCloud and Keychain (data can be wiped there).

To reset iCloud Keychain and your iCloud account, follow these steps: Turn off iCloud Keychain on all devices, delete iCloud Keychain data, and re-enable it. To reset your iCloud account, log in to iCloud.com, manually delete data, or delete individual app data. If you're locked out, recover your Apple ID password through Password Recovery. These steps should help you manage or reset your iCloud Keychain and account as needed.
