In order to maintain the security and privacy of your account we have placed those request on hold. If NOT you? talk to an Apple Representative. Failing may lead to auto debit and charge will not be reversed. Call +1 88867***** immediately to cancel this charge.

Just got this same phishing text that others reported.

Not that that’ll do any good. I’ve received over 2 dozen and reported ( blocked too) to both phishing and cell carrier! They come back stronger with more aggression!

We've all received these texts and will continue to receive them. It's really not necessary for everyone to post that they got one.

Today is December 19th and I just got this text!!! They are still at it! I’m so glad that I googled this before responding! It seemed pretty shady!

My mom recieved the same exact text word for word. She always calls me before she does anything. Sad.

I'm not seeing any charges. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The real way to stop them would be for email providers to charge something for every email sent. It would have to be a fairly hefty charge because even if only one in a thousand people fall for the scam, it is a worthy payoff for the scammers even if they had to pay for email. So you'd have to make it like 10c per email sent so it wouldn't be profitable for the scammers. Now you have to convince everybody in the world that they have to start paying per email sent. >:-) It's either that, or get people to learn about scams and how to avoid them. Not sure which would be harder.

Mod— why are the numbers being blocked out! People need and have a right to know the phone numbers these scammers are using to have a call and texting us from!
