Loops won’t preview while tracks are playing in Logic Pro

Sometimes they work then when I go back to the package they don’t. Loops of all kinds . Have preview channel in mixer it shows nothing , no way to select loops as input. This just started and I’ve been using logic since 2015 . A recent Monterey and safari update seems to have happened about when this started . It gets old wondering what’s going to work and what’s not anytime anything updates. Anyone else? Ideas for a fix?
