Our school recently issued out iPads and at first, Touch ID and password was available, but now I’m looking to remove it and saw that the Touch ID and password tab in settings was removed so I’m wondering how to remove it now?

If the school issued the iPads, I would guess they have monitoring and control software installed on the iPad. They can restrict settings like TouchID. You might ask your teacher about it.
