Random files generated in icloud

In my icloud drive, there are these auto generated files like the ones shown below. When I try to delete them, they later reappear. Additionally, there are other files that are copies of my current ones. If I have a file named MyPowerpoint.ptx, then there might be a MyPowerpoint(2).ptx generated, which is just an older version of the file. Any idea what is happening? I scanned mu computer with MalwareBytes, and it didn't find anything.
