Unable to pair my Bluetooth Hearing aids to my iPhone 11.

I have an iphone 11 with the up to date system. The last 2 weeks, I experience serious trouble connecting my hearing aids to the bluetooth. I tried everything like shutting down, turning BT on and off. They eventually connect after half an hour or more and meanwhile I get a nasty annoying tick ticking in the right ear, indicating the aids are looking for BT. What happens here? I suspect that has to do with the last update and now, I am installing the very latest.....I can't understand the need to upgrade systems that cause more problems than the previous "stable" ones.

merittel ~ Possibly... Because the long process of applying an iOS update to an old iPhone with a weak battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." So...

Does your iPhone 11 still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
