Finder iCloud Folder Refresh

I put items in an iCloud folder from an iPhone that I want to appear on my Mac.

But sometimes they do not appear for several minutes.

Yet, I can see that the items are in the iCloud folder from the phone.

My question is, is there a way to force a refresh of the folder contents?

Finder restart does not do the refresh.

I see that you're using a laptop. Do you have it plugged in? A portable Mac will try to save battery charge by slowing background processes. I sometimes use a portable battery to plug my MacBook in, even if I don't need it, to make the Mac think that it doesn't need to worry.

Also, of course, internet connection matters. I'm at a cafe right now, and the internet is awful.
