My Ipad and Iphone share icloud, MacBook does not

The MacBook lost its connection months ago, and I have been trying to fix it ever since.

Today I placed a test folder in Downloads on my phone, I see it on the iPad but not on the MacBook.

Today I disconnected iCloud from my MacBook and used the same apple password as my iPhone and iPad are using. Still does not connect to the same.

I think this is all surrounding my apple password, but I may be wrong. What will connect them? Its a drag being separate.
