Missing Apple Music search button in Music.app in macOS

This support article Search for music in Music on Mac - Apple Support indicates that Music.app on macOS should have three search domains: "Apple Music", "Your Library", and "iTunes Store". My Music.app is missing the "Apple Music" option. Why?

This is under macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Music.app 1.4.6.32. I am signed in to my Apple ID in Music.app. I do not have an Apple Music subscription, but the above support article says that is not necessary.
