ARD graphics horribly slow after Monterey to Sonoma upgrade

I haven't been using Apple Remote Desktop much over the last year or so and I have upgraded from macOS Monterey to macOS Sonoma on all my systems.


Before ARD connections between systems was almost perfect. I could have a full 2560x1440 screen control session and that worked perfectly.


Under Sonoma the graphics performance is horrible. Mouse moves get ghost images, everything graphical stutters. Both my Macs are Core i7 (older top of the line models).


Anything that can be done about that?
