Why have Genres have been eliminated from my music library on iTunes
my hundreds of albums are arranged by genre and that is how I play them on Sonos. I need the genre feature back

Are you talking about the "Genres" item in the sidebar? If it is missing, hover over the word "Library" and then click on "Edit" to the right of it. Check the box for "Genres," then "Done."
