When waking up mini M1, one of my three Fantom drives, same drive every time, shows Disk Not Ejected Properly many many times. Last count was 15. Checked cables and are OK. I'm running Sonoma 14.6.1 on mini M1. Hadn't had the problem until upgrade. Is there a fix in the works?

Are you connecting the drives via a hub?
This is a common problem especially if the hub does not have its own power supply via a transformer or phone charger.
I agree with hcsitas. Sleep not required and only causes other issues. Just have the display turn off after a set time.
Use the settings below exactly as shown, might fix.
Additionally, do not manual sleep. Shut for overnights and long absences and let the display switch off on timer:
