Homepod Mini Stereo Pair, shows as separate speakers, instead of grouped.

I have set up my two Homepods Mini as TV speakers. Everything worked normally for years up until recently. Maybe there was an update? Now instead of getting one option for the two speakers I have two separate options with slightly different icons:

Room is "Living Room"

Name of AppleTV is "Apple TV"

And now when I airplay music or TV to the homepods, most of the time the sound comes out of only one speaker, so I need to go in and select the other icon. Then I get two volume sliders, one for each speaker (this never happened before).

Both Homepods and the Apple TV are inside the same room "Living Room" in the Home app.

This has been driving me insane! Any help or insight is much appreciated.
