Hi guys,
After updating my iPhone from iOS 17.7 to 18, I encountered an error with my work email. It's showing "IMAP server is not responding."Our mail server uses TLS version 1.1. Does iOS 18 support this version? Can you confirm?

None of this advice is relevant to this issue. As I replied to someone else above, the very same mail account can send mail using iOS mail app - which means the phone can authenticate the account AND TLS works. The issue is the the iOS and iPadOS mail app fails to get new mail from imap servers. This is a bug. . It’s very disappointing to see Apple make a mistake in such a primary function.

“All Trash” seems to be particulary wonky, especially on the phones.
This is the worst Apple Mail fiasco I’ve ever seen - and I’ve been using Apple products since the 2nd Macintosh (long before iPhones and iPads)…
This is siloed to the Mail app. Other mail apps (e.g., Outlook, Spark) are not affected.
Can confirm, I just got Canary Mail up and running it seems to working just fine. Disappointing to say the least, hopefully Apple makes this right quickly.
You are spot on. Issue is only with devices that upgraded to iOS 18; in other words iPads and iPhones. Not a problem whatsoever with my Mac and I run the latest MacOS.
Should be work on Password and also it depends server config if support that NTLM and etc.. you must mention that too.

I'm sure they not worry about it. In my opinion they pushing users to use they email services. I quit apple services all my account's I moved to Securityfile Mail.

Unfortunately not, as I have just installed the public version of 18.1 and the problem is still there
